_"Phat Tone" - Totally Transistor based slam for your tube amp!

This pedal is a proprietary circuit that uses two separate transistor gain stages to create a "boosted" effect across ALL frequencies, and has been said to actually "thicken" your tone as well.  With little to zero ACTUAL tone coloration, this pedal gives you the front end slamming capability while maintaining the true tone of your guitar.  This pedal comes in a one or two knob version, the second knob simply being a passive "tone" control that lets you roll off high frequencies if you get too much highs when the pedal is cranked up.  Also, because it is transistor based and NOT diode based, the pedal is actually PUSHING your tube amp more than the PEDAL is actually distorting. Don’t get me wrong, when cranked up, the transistors do "break up" and provide an even harmonic crunch, but this pedal really shines as a lead boost OR as a drive pedal on its own providing rich note dynamics, and uncompromising (AND uncompressed!) TONE.   To date, this has been my best selling pedal!

"The Mos-Master"

This is one of my first designs that in effect provide TWO pedals in ONE enclosure.  These two virtual pedals  can be used independently of one another, OR cascaded into one another for a really unique sound. The first pedal  has TWO functions.  First, it functions as a MOSFET (metal–oxide–semiconductor field-effect transistor) clean boost pedal with a gain control knob.   Second, at the switch of the toggle, it becomes a UNITY gain buffer (so NO boosting happening) that is great at any part of your pedal board to re-strengthen your signal and bring back the high end of your true guitar tone.   This side ALSO has an INTERNAL trimpot that allows for the bias to be set on the MOSFET transistor, which can make it a "dirtier" or "cleaner" MOSFET boost. I have it set (calibrated) where I think it sounds best for boosting AND buffering

The second pedal in this one enclosure is a a single knob, silicon transistor based circuit that is modeled (NOT cloned exactly, but close) after the ever so famous Dallas Rangemaster Treble Booster.   This treble booster sounds amazing by itself really grinding out your high end and pushing those frequencies for increased note and playing dynamics in the treble range.  When used together, these two circuits can provide a wide palette of tones from soft and subtle clean volume boost, to an absolutely all out volume boost grind with rich treble sound.

"The Daily Driver"

This is one of my most prized (yet often overlooked) circuits.  This pedal is an op-amp based (that little 8 pin "cockroach" looking chip you see in all your overdrive pedals!)  STEREO line buffer. This means that the channels are INDEPENDENT, so this pedal can run as your last unit before the front of your amp.  This unit delivers as much of your true guitar tone BACK as is possible, while retaining all the chimey high end frequencies that are often lost in a chain with as few as two pedals! The average electronic signal from a guitar is not supposed to "technically" travel more than 18.5 feet before "seeing" some sort of buffer, however, if you use this unit at the very end of your chain, it will give you back tone you had forgotten you actually had - no matter how many pedals you have!! (Note that it is good to have more than just this buffer at the end of your chain, perhaps some sort of "buffered bypass" like a Boss, Ibanez, etc.  However,  even if ALL your pedals are TRUE bypass, this buffer will improve your tone vastly!.  This buffer is built on a Burr Brown op-amp (look these up, they make the BEST op-amps in the business!) for the ultimate in hi-fidelity buffering! And again, this is a STEREO unit, but can be used as just a mono buffer if desired.

"True Bypass Looper Boxes/Routing Units"

I make a variety of true bypass looper boxes, ranging from just a single channel to multiple channels with a "tuner mute out" option available as well.  These are high quality bypass/routing units, and can be built to your specs.   As these are made to order,  they can be built very small if necessary, so PLEASE, on these units - CONTACT  me for custom routing/true bypass boxes and for color options.

"Other"

I also offer a variety of clone pedals, usually using pre-printed PCBs and making them into custom enclosures (custom color, LED color, etc...) per order.  If you would like a clone of a particular pedal, CONTACT me, and I can tell you exactly what I can do for you.
